This radar view is most welcome after missing the ice storm. The same storm had given Colorado Springs, our son and his family’s home, seven to eight inches of snow.

But God was indeed merciful and we just got sleet for the most part.
I took a walk around the neighborhood this afternoon and found a few bushes where the ice was 1/8″ inch at the worst.
All this should be melting off by the weekend, but I will not be riding in it before then. Unlike Jim, I do not have snow tires on the Steed.

Riding the ice on studs is a blast! But actually, I didn’t feel like mounting the studs last night so I just ran in instead.
