Winter Cheer

Canadian Palmer Cox (1840-1924) created that wild and merry troop, The Brownies.

While re-reading a old book of children’s stories I ran across the treasured Brownie Year Book.  I offer to you for your enjoyment and nourishment, the entry for December.

DECEMBER

When comes the month

that calls to mind

The day so dear

to all mankind,

The people living,

West or East,

Begin to talk

about the feast

That will be spread

for young and old,

While songs are sung

and stories told.

Stay happy,

About rlhoover

A perspective on life and cycling in the Ozarks. I started serious cycling in 2008, after seeing my wife be on the bike for a few years. We have biked many places and hope to continue. I am no where near being a real good cyclist, but I have fun trying to improve. Who am I kidding? Me? Improve??
