Water without ice, please

More to come

That which I hope will be the only major event of this winter started around 3 a.m. this morning.  I woke to hear the sound of sleet hitting the sides of our home.

What a relief!  No freezing rain, no ice accumulation, just sleet with snow on the way.  But God help those who will get ice and have their electricity fail.

Stay happy,

About rlhoover

A perspective on life and cycling in the Ozarks. I started serious cycling in 2008, after seeing my wife be on the bike for a few years. We have biked many places and hope to continue. I am no where near being a real good cyclist, but I have fun trying to improve. Who am I kidding? Me? Improve??

Warm is key words these days. I have already cleared the driveway twice. I want to keep the wolves at bay! If I had studded tires and fenders, then I might be tempted to get out in this stuff. As it is, I just putter around in the garage and make sure the birds have feed out there. Regards,
