Snowy trail

I found these Frisco Highline Trail pics interesting not only because Jan and I rode the trail last Saturday, but also because they are a banquet for the eyes.  They were taken up around Bolivar by Phil Cross, a cycling friend (this spoken prophetically).

Jan and I hope to do the ride to Bolivar this year.

Stay happy,

About rlhoover

A perspective on life and cycling in the Ozarks. I started serious cycling in 2008, after seeing my wife be on the bike for a few years. We have biked many places and hope to continue. I am no where near being a real good cyclist, but I have fun trying to improve. Who am I kidding? Me? Improve??

I’ve never been past Walnut Grove, so I’ve thought about doing the Bolivar thing at some point also. Not sure if I’ve got a bike that will handle it though. Last few times I went to Walnut Grove, it got pretty soft out there. Hopefully it’s improved since then…it’s been a few years.

We have been up as far as Sac River bridge in Polk county on our Bianchi hybrids. The trail was good and the weather had been dry for a while, but I hear that the trail is not as good as KATY. Maybe we should plan for something this year.
