Two steps forward

Here in the Ozarks we took one step back with a cold front, rain, and freezing temps for the weekend.  But it won’t last long.

This morning I made a second cold frame for Jan by using an old window and then helped a friend hang a couple of cabinet doors.  We learned a couple of things by doing the doors, either (1) attach the hardware to the cabinet frame and then hang the doors, or (2) attach the hardware to the door and then do the hanging.  I think number two is the way to go.

Here are the two frames.  Can you tell which one I did first?

Early season lettuce comin' up....

As you can tell, the grass is starting to green up.  My next non-cycling project is to make a new ramp for the shed [Note to self:  Go to home center and spend money].

Hope all your projects involve two wheels and a flat surface.

Stay happy,

About rlhoover

A perspective on life and cycling in the Ozarks. I started serious cycling in 2008, after seeing my wife be on the bike for a few years. We have biked many places and hope to continue. I am no where near being a real good cyclist, but I have fun trying to improve. Who am I kidding? Me? Improve??
